Top 10 Tony Robbins Quotes

tony robbins quote on decisions and taking action

Tony Robbins is a name that is now recognized the world over; however, it didn’t start that way. Before he became an internationally recognized life coach and motivational speaker and before Tony Robbins’ quotes would penetrate the minds and hearts of millions, the self-help guru actually came from rather humble beginnings. His parents divorced when he was just 7 years old and his mother remarried several times including to semi-pro baseball player Jim Robbins who adopted Tony and gave him his last name at the age of 12. Tony Robbins’ home life was turbulent, and he had a number of health problems growing up as well (a tumor in his pituitary gland caused him to grow nearly a foot to the formidable 6’7″ that he is today). At the age of 17, he fled what he described as an abusive home situation, working as a janitor as a way to make ends meet. All the while, Tony’s struggles and learning how to overcome them were setting the foundation for him to help millions of other people overcome their own.

That same year, Robbins began working as a promoter for events featuring another motivational speaker by the name of Jim Rohn. Despite not having the opportunity to attend college, young Tony Robbins was ever the student and learned as much as he could from Rohn and began to hone his own life philosophy and message. It wouldn’t be until he was 28 years old that he would release the first of many now well-known infomercials. In 1997, he began the Leadership Academy seminar which is still in operation in various forms to this day. Rising from humble beginnings, he was truly a self-made man, and now his messages of hope, hard work, determination, and self-reliance echo around the world. Don’t try to be perfect; just be an excellent example of being human.”

9. “We will act consistently with our view of who we truly are, whether that view is accurate or not.”

Tony Robbins is an excellent example of how an individual can truly rise above their circumstances in order to create for themselves the lives and futures that they dream of. When the deck is stacked against you sometimes it is all about how you play the cards you were given, and he played his just right. Fortunately, his success is not in isolation and there’s a lot of things all of us can do to improve our lives and our situations. We may not all be the next Tony Robbins but we can all be the next something and hopefully, these motivational Tony Robbins quotes will help give someone the motivation they need to take that next step.
